Office of the President and the state Council
Ensures that human resources and logistics are adequate for the office.
Supports and coordinates various committees established by the Regional state Council.
Publishes the rules and regulations approved by the Regional state Council and makes them available to relevant bodies.
Monitors and supports the implementation of Cabinet procedures in zones, special woredas, and woredas.
Properly records and preserves the minutes of the state Council in video, audio, and print formats and presents them to authorized parties.
Keeps the minutes of the state Council and ensures decisions are accessible to relevant parties while maintaining confidentiality.
Ensures that issues submitted to the Cabinet are presented in accordance with the state Council's rules of procedure and maintain an appropriate level of quality.
Provides advice, support, and coordination regarding documents and proposals submitted for discussion by government agencies for decision-making.
Reviews the appropriateness of investment requests submitted by zones and special woreda’s, submits the projects to the Regional state Council for decision, and informs decisions through letter to zones and special woredas.
Examines requests for replacement land from zones and special woredas, coordinates reviews with the Regional Urban Development and Construction Bureau, and informs decisions through letter to zones and special woredas.
Receives and examines requests for support, cooperation, allocation, and other matters from governmental and non-governmental institutions, zonal and special woredas structures, and individuals, and makes decisions accordingly.
- Provides protocol services to the Head of State, Deputy Heads of State, senior government officials, ambassadors, and representatives of international organizations visiting the region.
